The girls are together again

Audrey is finally home from her trip to Kansas. Her and Copper are having a hard time adjusting back to life as sisters but hopefully they will figure it out soon. Audrey came home 3 inches taller then when she left. Grandma sue sent some size 8 overalls that are on the verge of being too short on her. In addition to some cute clothes, Copper got a baton and Audrey got skate shoes. Lucky kids.

After we found that there was not much in the house for dinner we rode our bikes downtown for pizza. Audrey is so good on her bike, she rides right behind me the whole time.

This is how Copper dressed herself this morning. She looks like she belongs in the 80's

Copper's new haircut

Audrey is in Kansas

Audrey has been gone on an 18 day trip to visit her grandparents in Kansas. With Wes working in LA, Copper and I have been on our own. We spend most mornings cuddling until 9am and then reading stories in bed. For the last few days Copper has decided to read to me at bedtime, in the morning and throughout the day. Her favorite story is "The Three Bears" and she remembers the words pretty well.

Copper got a haircut just below her ears last night. She wanted to keep the hair so we put it in a plastic bag to go in her keepsake box.

Today we are going to go Downtown and pick out a gift for Aija's birthday party happening later today at Scotty's Playhouse.

We both Miss Audrey very much and can't wait to see her when she arrives tomorrow.

My babies are growing

My children are growing up and I want to be sure to remember the cool stuff they go through as they grow up.
